My Story
I’ve loved art from a very young age. My mother didn’t want “her girls” (I have 3 sisters) watching TV all summer, so we took up many arts and crafts hobbies. From rock polishing to macrame and from photography to cake decorating - and so many more!
After a 30+ year career in healthcare, I was finally able to pursue my passion - art! I took many classes at the Atlantic Beach Arts Market and fell in love with glass fusing! All my pieces are cut by hand and designed in my home studio - making each one unique. They spend 18 to 24 hours in a glass kiln fired up to 1500 degrees.
Glass is wonderful to work with and I consider myself very lucky to do this every day … despite the occasional finger cut!
Inspiration for my art and fused glass designs comes from my love of the beach, sunrise over the ocean, dogs, and traveling to interesting places to see amazing art and architecture.
